The following are a list of puzzles that I have (co)written for various puzzlehunts. ## Mystery Hunt 2023 — The Puzzle Factory - **[♊](https://puzzles.mit.edu/2023/interestingthings.museum/puzzles/gemini)**: I really enjoyed the core mechanic but if I could change this puzzle, I'd provide enumerations for the emojis. - **[🐍](https://puzzles.mit.edu/2023/puzzlefactory.place/basement/snake)**: My other puzzle with a single emoji as the title. The categories are surprisingly solid given the constraints. - **[MATE's META](https://puzzles.mit.edu/2023/puzzlefactory.place/factory-floor/mates-meta)**: The hunt structure constraints that ended up being imposed on this meta were really unfortunate, but the core teammate anagram mechanic survived. - **[Space Modules](https://puzzles.mit.edu/2023/puzzlefactory.place/factory-floor/space-modules)**: The only Boötes meta that survived the decision to cut most of the round mid-hunt. My contributions to this puzzle were mainly in the round gimmick ideation, where I suggested that it would be fun if the specific whitespace formatting of puzzle answers were important. - **[Cure the Werewolf's Woe](https://puzzles.mit.edu/2023/puzzlefactory.place/puzzles/cure-the-werewolfs-woe)**: A Sokoban-like with graphics inspired by Baba Is You. - **[Dispel the Bees](https://puzzles.mit.edu/2023/puzzlefactory.place/puzzles/dispel-the-bees)**: My favorite puzzle so far in the logic crossword genre that I've been tinkering with. - **[Run the Gamut](https://puzzles.mit.edu/2023/puzzlefactory.place/puzzles/run-the-gamut)**: My contribution to this puzzle is just the pixel art icons. ## Mystery Hunt 2021 — ⊥IW - **[Just Index](https://puzzles.mit.edu/2021/puzzle/just-index/)**: I only contributed a little bit to the clue writing for this puzzle. The mechanic is very fun though. - **[Not Again!](https://puzzles.mit.edu/2021/puzzle/not-again/)**: I also only contribute a couple of clues to this puzzle. - **[Over 9,000: an Abbreviated Yet Awesome Tour Of Your First Equally Excellent Puzzle Mechanic](https://puzzles.mit.edu/2021/puzzle/over-9000/)**: A meme puzzle idea that very happily worked out. - **[People Wear Clothes](https://puzzles.mit.edu/2021/puzzle/people-wear-clothes/)**: This puzzle is exactly as the title advertises. - **[Dolphin](https://puzzles.mit.edu/2021/puzzle/dolphin/)**: I love learning obscure bits of video game trivia and this puzzle was a chance for me to share that. - **[A Cheat Code](https://puzzles.mit.edu/2021/puzzle/a-cheat-code/), [Button Press](https://puzzles.mit.edu/2021/puzzle/button-press/), [Untitled Goose Goals](https://puzzles.mit.edu/2021/puzzle/untitled-goose-goals/), [Violet Coins in Space](https://puzzles.mit.edu/2021/puzzle/violet-coins-in-space/)**: These puzzles were all solved in the Projection Device and had teams make use of the interactive aspect of it. - **[Cross-stitched Words](https://puzzles.mit.edu/2021/puzzle/cross-stitched-words/)**: A much better puzzle in the genre of The Bazaar (i.e. simultaneously using logical deductions to solve help crossword clues and solving crossword clues to help find new logical deductions). - **[Slitheɹlᴉuʞs](https://puzzles.mit.edu/2021/puzzle/slithe%C9%B9l%E1%B4%89u%CA%9Es/)**: The logic puzzle variants were all very fun to write and solve, but the extraction is unfortunately the weakest part. ## teammate hunt 2021 - **[Magical](https://2021.teammatehunt.com/puzzles/magical) and [Entanglement](https://2021.teammatehunt.com/puzzles/entanglement)**: The intro round metas that set the scene for the main round gimmick. - **[The Shooting Gallery](https://2021.teammatehunt.com/puzzles/the-shooting-gallery)**: My first time writing cryptic clues for a puzzlehunt puzzle. - **[Guessing Game](https://2021.teammatehunt.com/puzzles/guessing-game)**: A pretty silly puzzle that we came up with by joking around. - **[Beep Arcade](https://2021.teammatehunt.com/puzzles/beep-arcade)**: A mod of Celeste Classic 2. - **[The Bazaar](https://2021.teammatehunt.com/puzzles/the-bazaar)**: In retrospect, this puzzle was way too ambitious. The final version is already significantly easier compared to the original draft. - **[Karaoke Machine](https://2021.teammatehunt.com/puzzles/karaoke-machine) and [Souvenir Photos](https://2021.teammatehunt.com/puzzles/souvenir-photos)**: This took quite a bit of iteration to turn the initial inspirations into a workable puzzle. - **[Light Show](https://2021.teammatehunt.com/puzzles/light-show) and [Tumbled Tower](https://2021.teammatehunt.com/puzzles/tumbled-tower)**: The recursive logic puzzle and extraction was a super neat construction.
